Thanks for logging onto the blog. the aim will be to keep you up to date with the progress of the Prostate campaign and the training efforts of the RAAM team as we get closer to the June 2010 deadline.

The funding effort has got off to a great start with nearly £19k already pledged and we are only 6 weeks in to the 12 month campaign. Everyone within Sharp is really supportive and already there are some great individual fundraising ideas coming through.

The next big event is the Hoedown at Sundown on the 25th July. You can see details of this on the home page. It would be great to see a full house there.
3 of the RAAM team are off to compete in the Marmotte sportive in the Alps on the 4th July. A really tough event, I will let you know how they got on. Unfortunately work and fitness dictate that I stay at home this time, but I will ride into work again Thursday and Friday for my sins. Not really comparable to riding 4 mountains in a day! (5000m of climbing)
